Thrill of the Chase

about

Kind of like the score to a montage, or maybe a chase scene. I started this song seemingly forever ago, on a Facebook stream, and held myself to the unrealistic standard that I would finish the rest in a single follow-up stream and move on. That held me back quite a while, but it's "finished" now!

This song is quite a bit warmer and more bass-heavy than my previous tracks, but I referenced some of my favourite synthwave artists to try to get the sound I was going for. It's debatable whether I accomplished that, but as long as everything is audible most of the time, it's finished to me! If you're listening to it on low volume, it's going to sound "quieter" than my other songs because the bass frequencies (which need to be felt, which requires higher volume) and low-mids are technically more dominant than the audible treble frequencies. The song is still quieter than most commercial music anyway, but I'm not about that loudness war.
